Description
⚔️ Rift Rumble - Enter the Arena & Fight for Victory
Rift Rumble is a complete Unity arena combat template designed around fast-paced free-for-all battles, playable heroes, AI opponents, collectible resources, and arena progression.
Players select a hero and enter an arena to compete against four AI-controlled opponents. Each match combines movement, aiming, character-specific abilities, collectible crystals, destructible supply caches, and a shrinking danger zone that pushes combat toward a final confrontation.
Built with Unity 6.3 LTS and Universal Render Pipeline (URP), Rift Rumble provides a customizable foundation for developers who want to create their own stylized arena combat game for Android and Windows.
The project includes eight playable heroes, three themed arenas, offline AI combat, trophy-based progression, character selection, player profiles, cosmetic chests, an in-game currency shop, and multiple control schemes.
Developers also receive editable C# source code, configurable gameplay assets, English setup documentation, and a rebranding wizard to help customize the project.
Important: The included gameplay is offline. Online multiplayer, advertising integration, and real-money in-app purchases are not included. Replace the demonstration game's branding and studio identity before publishing your customized game.
⚔️ Core Arena Combat Gameplay
Rift Rumble focuses on free-for-all combat against AI-controlled opponents.
Each match features one player and four AI opponents competing in an arena. Players must move around the environment, aim their attacks, collect resources, and manage their position as the danger zone shrinks.
Core Gameplay Loop
1. 🎮 Select a playable hero.
2. 🏟️ Enter an arena.
3. ⚔️ Fight four AI opponents.
4. 💎 Collect crystals and discover supply caches.
5. ❤️ Improve health and attack power through collectibles.
6. ⚠️ Adapt as the danger zone shrinks.
7. 🏆 Earn trophies and progress toward new arenas.
🦸 Eight Playable Heroes
The project includes 8 playable heroes, each with a distinct combat style and character-specific abilities.
This provides a varied character roster that developers can customize or expand.
Hero System
- Eight selectable heroes
- Distinct combat styles
- Character-specific abilities
- Character selection interface
- Customizable gameplay assets
The included heroes provide a foundation for creating different combat experiences without starting the character system from scratch.
🏟️ Three Themed Arenas
Rift Rumble features 3 themed arenas with trophy-based unlocking.
Players can unlock additional maps through progression, while random selection chooses among the arenas already unlocked.
Arena Features
- Three themed environments
- Trophy-based arena progression
- Random selection among unlocked maps
- Customizable arena content
- Stylized 3D visuals
🤖 Offline AI Opponents
The template includes offline free-for-all matches featuring one player and four AI opponents.
No backend server is required for the included gameplay.
This makes the project useful for developers who want to work with an offline arena combat structure before deciding whether to build additional systems.
📱 Mobile Touch Controls
Rift Rumble includes touch controls designed for mobile gameplay.
Mobile Controls
- Virtual movement joystick
- Tap-to-target attacks
- Manual drag aiming
These controls provide a foundation for movement and combat on compatible touchscreen devices.
🖥️ Desktop Controls
The project also supports desktop gameplay through keyboard movement and mouse aiming.
This allows developers to test and build for Windows alongside Android.
Desktop Controls
- Keyboard-based movement
- Mouse aiming
- Arena combat gameplay
💎 Collectible Crystals & Supply Caches
Players can collect crystals and discover destructible supply caches during matches.
Crystals increase health and attack power, adding a resource collection element to the combat loop.
These systems give players additional objectives while navigating the arena and fighting AI opponents.
⚠️ Shrinking Danger Zone
Rift Rumble includes a shrinking danger zone that encourages matches to move toward a final confrontation.
As the playable area becomes more restricted, players must adapt their movement and positioning rather than remain in one place.
This system helps maintain momentum throughout arena matches.
🏆 Trophy-Based Progression
The template includes a trophy progression system with placement-based rewards and arena unlocking.
Players can earn rewards based on their placement and work toward opening additional environments.
Progression Features
- Placement-based trophy rewards
- Arena unlocking
- Player profiles
- Collectible avatars
- Emotes
These features provide a foundation for customizing the progression and player identity systems.
🎁 Cosmetic Chests & In-Game Currency
Rift Rumble includes cosmetic chests and an in-game currency shop.
The shop does not include real-money payment integration. Developers can customize the existing economy and cosmetic systems according to their own game design.
🌍 English & Portuguese Localization
The project supports two languages:
- English
- Portuguese
This provides a starting point for developers who want to customize the game's text or extend its localization support.
🎨 Stylized 3D Graphics with URP
Rift Rumble uses the Universal Render Pipeline (URP) for its stylized 3D presentation.
It includes two graphics presets:
- Low
- Ultra
These options allow players to choose between different graphics settings based on their device capabilities and preferences.
🛠️ Editable C# Source Code
The project includes editable C# source code and configurable gameplay assets.
Developers can customize the existing systems and adapt the project to their own design goals.
Customization Possibilities
